I'm workin on something. I haven't painted in a long time, not since high school. Usually, I'm a writer. So when chemo messed with my head and made it hard to write, I thought— why not return to art?
So I'm drawing again. I'm lurking all over DA, looking at other people's work and finding a ton(read: too many) amazing reference photos. Speaking of which, if you have any or know any, link me up in the comments.
Thank _you_! I skulk about looking for dynamic photos of bodies and people that help me learn to draw. His freckles map the topography of his face, so not only is it a great image that's well lit but it's also a wonderful tool to help an aspiring artist learn about faces.
After looking through most of the tourneys that will be getting started soon, this one seemed to be both a) the most suited to you and your style and b) intelligently run. If I lose out of mine soon, I might even give this one a go.
